ABOUT THE 18th FINA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN WATER POLO Junior Championship

FINA World Water Polo Championship has been held since 1981, the interval between championships is two years.

For the title of Junior World Champion in 2015, there will compete the twenty teams that were selected for their continental tournaments, namely:

· 7 teams, representing the European continent

· 5 teams, representing the Americas

· 1 team, representing Oceania

· 4 teams, representing the Asian continent

· 2 teams, representing the African continent

· The team representing the host country

The right to host the World Cup FINA Water Polo Championship were granted to the following countries:

2003  — Italy, Naples

2005  — Argentina, city of Mar del Plata

2007  — United States, Long Beach

2009  — Croatia, Sibenik

2011  — Greece, Volos

2013  — Hungary, Szombathely
