Kazakhstan Swimming Cup to Be Contested in Almaty

From November 15 to 19, 2024, the Kazakhstan Swimming Cup will take place at the Almaty Training Center pool (25m). The tournament will bring together the country’s top sports teams and clubs.

Athletes from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, sports colleges, Republican and regional schools of higher sports mastery (RSHVSM and SHVSM), youth sports schools (SDYUSHOR and DYUSSH), as well as university students, sports clubs, and departmental representatives will take part. Participants must hold at least a second sports category. Competition format and conditions The competition will be held in individual events, including preliminary and final heats at 50, 100, 200, and 400m. For 400m individual medley, as well as 800m and 1500m freestyle, heats will be seeded, with the fastest heat held in the evening session. If eight or fewer athletes are registered for a distance, the race will go directly to the finals.
